Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: "Is there some kind of down payment before my appointment?"
A: Yes, in order to secure your appointment, we ask for a 20% down payment of your finalized total. We will then send an invoice, via PayPal, to your email address in order for your down payment to be processed. PayPal takes all major credit cards OR you may use your PayPal account credit/linked card to pay this down payment.
Q: "How long does makeup and hair take?"
A: It depends on the complexity of the style, and how many people are in your party. The more information you give us prior to the event (i.e, pictures regarding what each client wants for hair/makeup), the more accurate of a time estimate we can provide. We like to give 1.5 - 2 hours for bridal hair/makeup, and typically anywhere from 1 hour - 1 hour 30 per bridesmaid.
Q: "What form of payment do you take on the day of the event?"
A: Cash is preferred, but personal checks and credit cards are accepted. If you choose to use a credit card for the final payment, it will charge an additional surcharge of 3%.
Q: "Because your company is a team of artists, how do I know which artist I am going to get?"
A; We have a primary makeup artist, and a primary hairstylist. We will call additional part-time artists if our primary artists aren't available, if your party is larger than 8 people, or if time is limited. All of the artists we represent are very experienced and are hired based on similar techniques, application styles, and finished results. If we are sending one of our part-time artists to your event, we will send you a link to their portfolio so you can be able to approve their work.
Q: "How do I get in contact with/make an appointment with your agency?"
A: Please visit our 'Contact Us' tab on our website and answer the following form and our assistant will email you an estimate, and/or answer other inquiries.
Q: "Where does the makeup application take place?"
A: We travel to most of our events, however, theres an additional $25 travel fee per artist. If you are located at a hotel or an area with limited parking, parking fees are not covered (EX: valet, parking structure fees, etc). If you would like to travel to us, address will be given upon request.
Q: "Is there anything I should bring on the day of?"
A: Everything is provided on the day of, unless you have specific products you prefer to use. If you are getting your hair done, please come with 100% dry hair. If you have booked a hair appointment, we always recommend hair that has not been washed for a day. This will help your curls last longer- especially for you straight haired gals!
Q: "I don't wear makeup on a day to day basis, and am worried about the makeup looking too heavy."
A: Please keep in mind that our portfolio/before & after pictures are based on requests by our clients. Some clients request heavy makeup, while others prefer it more natural. Each look is customizable to make you feel beautiful and confident on your special day!
Q: "Are you available to do my entire bridal party?"
A: We have multiple artists that can accommodate multiple tasks within your party. It would take two artists to accommodate a party of 6-7 people (hair/makeup), and 3 artists to accommodate any party larger than 8 people.
Q: "I do not live in Hawaii, and am having a destination wedding. How can we have a consultation?"
A: If you are not from Hawaii, but would like a bridal consultation, we can communicate via FaceTime/Skype or via email. Contact our assistant to set up an online consultation:
